History of the mine
A small prospect 100 feet from the Lost Canyon digs, first noted in Frank Morrissey's Turquoise Deposits of Nevada as the lost Blue Belle mine before a 1960s flash flood buried it. Re-excavated in 2020, it gave up several dozen pounds of high-grade nuggets from kaolin-clay pockets before the pocket zone pinched out. Hopefully it will be found again.
